Once you have created a relationship, you can edit it by hovering your mouse pointer over that relationship. Upon editing, you can add extra optional details for that relationship.

Once you have added the extra information for any relationship, it will show valid years as a label like "m.1990 d.2030". Relationship lines will also get dashed in divorce and disowning cases.
