Once you have created a member, you can edit it by hovering your mouse pointer over that family member. Upon editing, you can add extra optional details for that family member.

Once you have added the extra description, you can choose the correct shape that shows the extra details. For example, you may select the "Placard" shape from the "Shapes and Layout" action on the family tree.
